More than 10 thousands of people took part in protest action in Kotlas city in Dec 8, 2019 against the landfill in Shies town in Arkhangelsk region. The main road was blocked by protesters. This day protest also has been organized in Arkhangelsk and Syktyvkar cities. “Our North is not your landfill!”, “Moscow's rubbish should be returned to Moscow” - protesters say.
