After 5 weeks from the beginning of mass protest in Iraq, which have left hundreds of people dead, after a relative calm week, huge anti-government protests are renewed. Last days huge actions erupted in Nasiriya and Baghdad. Many thousands of people concentrated in the central squares and streets.

The day after anti-government protests erupted in Iraq, Iranian Gen. Qassim Soleimani flew into Baghdad late at night and chaired a security meeting in place of the prime minister.
