Minneapolis riots, May 28, 2020
Mass protests against police brutality continue in Minneapolis, provoked by the murder of African-American George Floyd by a police officer at May 25.

On the third day, the protesters' demands to punish the perpetrators and reform the police were accompanied by the lifting of lockdown and to revise the social and medical policies; and the protests turned into mass riots: robberies and looting of shops, supermarkets, banks, even gas stations, destruction and arsons. Police and fire service cannot cope with the threats, the city infrastructure close to collapse.

this is a clear social mechanism: if the populist stubbornly argues that "they" ("criminals", "foreigners", "bandits", "bastards", "oligarchs", "corrupt dishonest politicians") are to blame for everything, because of which “we” ("hard workers", "simple impoverished people") suffer, and therefore it is necessary to "make them together", to "simply" return the "golden age", to "make America great again", to "be fair" - relentlessly instilling this conflicting narrative and aggressive behavioral stereotype in the heads of the population, constantly fueling it with witch-hunts, destroying social and state institutions that ensured rights and equality, then "suddenly" - an outbreak of violence, pogrom, arson almost inevitable… wow, surprise-surprise…
