One year ago, in September 2018 was started a civil action “Pomorje is not a dump” in Arkhangelsk, Russia. In April 7, 2019 was started no-ending protest action against landfill building near the Shies village in Arkhangelsk region. During these six month numerous protest and sabotage actions were provided: blocking of fuel transports, personnel, building technics, damage to local bridges and roads, etc.
In October 2019 the central power has started a repression against the activists, and organizes the armed convoys to deliver fuel, technics and personnel to the construction site. The massive police operation against people protecting environment was organized using “Rosguardia” and varied paramilitary troops.
