As a result of the offensive of the Taliban and the Afghan government army, with the support of the Western coalition, the cells and networks of Islamic State Khurasan Province (IS-KP) in the southern districts Mohmand, Achin and Haska Meyna, also known as Deh Bala, of the Nangarhar province were destroyed. This indicates not so much the exhaustion of military IS tactics, but the loss of social base among the local Pushto tribes.
